Frequently asked questions
The treatment, the range, the network: answers to the questions we are asked most often.
For dog owners
The salon treatment, the products, ordering.
What is the oxygen treatment?
The treatment relies on diffusion by concentrated oxygen under pressure. A flow of enriched oxygen carries the concentrate and lays it down finely and evenly through the coat, right to the skin, the root of the hair and into the skin folds. The deposit is uniform and the feeling of freshness immediate.
How long does a session last?
Between 15 and 20 minutes, depending on the size of the animal and the area treated. The treatment fits into a standard grooming session.
How often should it be repeated?
Two rhythms, depending on the goal: every two weeks for intensive treatment, once a month for upkeep. Your groomer adjusts according to the condition of the coat and skin.
How much does a salon session cost?
The price is set freely by each partner salon. NATURÔDOG supplies the machine and the concentrates; pricing the service is a matter for the professional who performs it. Ask the salon of your choice.
Is the treatment unpleasant for my dog?
No. There is no heat, no rubbing and no product forced onto the coat: the oxygen lays the treatment down without constraint. The groomer stays attentive to the animal's behaviour and adapts accordingly. As with any grooming procedure, an anxious dog benefits from being introduced to it gradually.
From what age?
From six months.
Can my cat benefit from it?
No. NATURÔDOG treatments are strictly canine: they are neither formulated nor intended for cats, whose metabolism and grooming behaviour differ from those of dogs.
What do the products contain?
Hydrolat-based formulas, free from synthetic fragrance, alcohol and controversial preservatives. This composition applies across the range. The full ingredient list appears on every label.
Are the products tested on animals?
No. No testing is carried out on animals.
The safety of each formula is established following the methodology of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products, which governs cosmetics intended for humans. Each product is covered by a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) drawn up by a qualified assessor, and safety testing is carried out on human volunteers.
This framework does not apply to cosmetics intended for animals: we choose to follow it.
Is the product safe for the person applying it?
Yes. Our formulas are assessed following the methodology of the European regulation on cosmetic products, the one that governs products intended for humans. The groomer handling them every day and the owner applying them without gloves are covered by that level of requirement.
This does not make our products human cosmetics: they are formulated for dogs and are not intended for use on human skin.
How long do they keep once opened?
Several months. The violet MIRON glass packaging filters visible light and protects the integrity of the active ingredients over time. The exact period appears on each product label.
Are they compatible with a parasite treatment?
Yes. After applying an external spot-on parasite treatment, however, allow the product to dry and spread before any treatment, count 48 hours, or follow the instructions supplied with the treatment, which take precedence.
My dog has a skin problem. Can I use your products?
NATURÔDOG treatments are cosmetic products for hygiene, comfort and beauty. They are not veterinary medicines: they treat no condition. If your dog has a lesion, persistent irritation or is undergoing veterinary treatment, ask your vet before any application.
Where can the treatment be carried out?
Exclusively at a partner grooming salon. The procedure requires a dedicated machine and specific know-how: it is not performed at home. The salon map is available on the Find us page.
Can I buy the products now?
Not yet. Sales begin in January 2027, with pre-orders opening in December 2026. The Pre-registration page lets you be notified at launch.
What will the prices be?
Aura: €24 incl. VAT for 50 ml, €36 for 100 ml. Câline: €26 incl. VAT for 50 ml, €39 for 100 ml. The Velours and Empreinte balms will follow.
How do the salon treatment and the products relate?
The oxygen treatment is reserved for partner salons, which work with concentrates in professional format. The 50 and 100 ml bottles extend the effect of the treatment at home, between sessions.
How does delivery work?
Orders are prepared within 24 working hours, then shipped by Colissimo or Chronopost. Rates and times are set out in article 7 of the terms of sale.
Can I return a product?
Yes, within fourteen days of receipt, without having to give a reason. From mainland France, we cover the return costs; from elsewhere in the European Union they remain payable by you. The details are in article 8 of the terms of sale.
For professionals
Grooming salons and breeders.
How do I become a partner salon?
The Network page presents the programme and lets you submit an application. We reply to each salon individually.
What does NATURÔDOG supply to the salon?
The oxygen machine and the Aura and Câline concentrates in professional format (250 ml, pump). The salon thus has the equipment and the products the protocol requires.
Can the salon resell the products?
Yes. The 50 and 100 ml formats are designed for resale in salon, as an extension of the treatment. It is additional revenue and a way of making the result last between appointments.
Is training required?
The protocol unfolds in three stages, diagnosis, treatment, revelation, described on the The Ritual page. Support in getting started is part of the partner programme; write to contact@naturodog.com.
Does the salon set its own price?
Yes, freely. NATURÔDOG imposes no service pricing.
